Marshall Islands goes visa-free with Taiwan
The Marshall Islands has signed a visa-free entry agreement with Taiwan.
The deal was inked during a week-long visit to Taiwan by President Hilda Heine which began on Thursday.
The two countries also agreed to joint maritime patrols and are negotiating collaboration in other areas.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Taiwan and the Marshall Islands, one of its six Pacific allies.
